Clearing Cache for your browser


Note: In this article, google chrome and Edge was used to demonstrate how to clear the browser cache. 

Google Chrome

To begin, launch google chrome. Next, locate the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window and click on them. From the dropdown menu, select "History" to access the history tab. On the left-hand side of the History page, click on the option to delete your browsing data.

A pop-up window will appear; in this window, select 'Cookies and other site data' as well as 'Cached images and files.' Once you have made your selections, click on the 'Delete data' button to effectively clear the cache from your browser.

Microsoft Edge

To clear the cache in Microsoft Edge, begin by clicking on the three dots located in the top right corner of the browser. From the dropdown menu, select "History" to proceed.

A history tab will appear on your screen. To proceed with clearing the cache, simply click on the trash can icon.

A new page will open for you. Here, you can select 'Cookies and other site data' along with 'Cached images and files.' Once you have made your selections, simply click on the 'Clear now' button to complete the process of clearing the cache in Microsoft Edge.
