Pathways on Nvolve

Creating Pathways and assigning to Employees.

To get started, please log in to Nvolve using your administrator account that has the necessary permissions.

Next, navigate to the Workforce tab and select the Pathways option.

On the pathways screen, you will find a list of existing pathways. To create a new one, simply locate the 'New Pathway' button in the upper right corner of the list and click on it.

The subsequent step involves setting the Pathway Title. Following this, you have the option to either assign the pathway to employees or enhance the pathway itself. We will focus on enhancing the pathway first by selecting the 'Add to Pathway' button. Select the desired week from the 'Week' dropdown menu for the assignment of the pathway items.

Note: When you select week 2, the pathway items will be added to the employee's schedule during the second week following their assignment to the pathway.

Next, please choose the appropriate Pathway item from the 'Assignment Item' dropdown menu. 

Items that can be added to Pathway: 

  • Learning Items 
  • Pulse Surveys 
  • Workgroups
  • Notifications
  • Performance Reviews
  • Manager Notifications

In this example, we will focus on adding Learning items. To do this, please select the appropriate Learning Type from the 'Learning Type' dropdown menu, which includes options such as Digital Procedures, Other training, eLearning, and more.

From the Learning item field, please select the specific learning resource you wish to incorporate into the Pathway. Once you have made your selection, click on the 'Save updates' button to ensure the changes to the Pathway Week are recorded successfully.

You may repeat this procedure to include additional items for each subsequent week.

The next step involves assigning the Pathway to the employees. To do this, please click on the 'Assign Employees' button.

From the Assign Employees page, you can easily transfer the employees you wish to assign to the pathway from the left Available Column to the right Assigned Column. Once you have made your selections, be sure to click on the 'Save Updates' button to record the changes.

Once you return to the Pathway page, please click on the 'Update Pathway' button to save the modifications made to the pathway or to finalize the creation of a new pathway.

Any employee who is assigned to the Pathway will automatically receive the corresponding Pathway items. For instance, Learning items that are assigned through the Pathway will be assigned into the employee's learning plan, following the same process to complete as training assigned outside of a Pathway.

Viewing Pathway Progress

To review an employee's progress within a pathway, navigate to the Workforce tab and select the Employees option.

 

To view the pathway progress of a specific employee, navigate to the employees page and click on the eye icon next to their name.

Next, navigate to the Pathway tab on the employee details page. In this section, you have the option to pause the pathway if necessary, and you can also monitor the progress of the pathway by clicking on the eye icon.
