Scheduling Courses on the Platform
To start, please log in as an administrator or manager, ensuring that you have the appropriate permissions.
Subsequently, navigate to the Learning tab and choose the 'Course Scheduler' option.
This will display a comprehensive list of available courses.
To initiate the scheduling of a new course, simply click on the prominent red 'Create New Course' button and proceed to complete the course details.
Next, click on the 'Learning/Skills Link' to incorporate the learning materials that will be addressed during the scheduled course. You will have the option to choose from a dropdown menu to specify the type of training, and you can assign multiple training items to enhance the course content.
If necessary, please upload any relevant supporting files in the 'Supporting Files' tab.
After you have filled in all the necessary information, please click on the red 'Save Updates' button to securely store the details of the newly created course.
The newly created course will automatically assign employees who are linked to the training included in the scheduled course.
After successfully creating the course, proceed by selecting the eye icon linked to the course you have just established.
Next, select the red and white 'Schedule This Course' button to invite employees to participate in the course, while also establishing the course date and time.
Once you have entered the necessary details, click on the 'Save Updates' button to finalize the invitation to employees and confirm the scheduled course time. An email notification will be dispatched to the employees who have been invited to participate in the course.
In the Course Schedule tab, you can view the upcoming scheduled courses.
Select the eye icon to access detailed information about the scheduled course. In this section, you can conveniently update the attendance status of employees who participated, marking their training as completed. Once you have made the necessary updates, be sure to click the 'Save Updates' button to confirm your changes.
You can also apply this process to the Historical Training page to manage and update records for any training sessions that have already taken place.
